My Christmas Week so far...

December 22th 2017 - Had an great Christmas this year, I was alive to see it. :)
Was able to spend this last weekend with my daughter. We had our own little present opening.
It was great. She went back to her mothers on the 24th. We both went Sunday morning to my moms, so she could spend some time with Grandma & Grampa K. Sunday night was waiting for texts & calls from friends on trip, to let me know when they got back into town. They finally made it back around 1ish AM on the 25th.

December 25th - Woke up! Yay! Got a call from my friend she said hey and asked if I wanted to do a Christmas Dinner with her mom and family on the 26th. Had a nice dinner with my Dad and his girlfriend today. I bought a 68 cent per pound turkey 3 weeks go give or take a day or two. Think brand was Jennie-O Turkey. This is the first Turkey ever I have seen from a company that added a gravy packet, and surprisingly, the gravy was pretty good. I believe it was about 9-11 pounds. I don't really remember the size exactly. It was however juicy and cooked up pretty fast for a turkey. We also had chicken flavored StoveTop stuffing. Did you know they had so many flavors & types of StoveTop? I sure didn't. also had mashed potatoes and the gravy from the turkey, green beans with butter. For desert I had frozen coconut cream pie. Went back up to my apartment and vegetated in front of my Desktop, until I got tired and went to bed.

December 26th - Went with friends to look at the house so they could see the condition. Then went to my friends mother in laws house so that everyone knew they were back safely from their trip. Drama immediately ensued and things got heated, my friend broke down. The subject is private and not for me to disclose. Then we left to go do some shopping for things they needed and stuff to help pitch in for the place they are staying which is her oldest sister in laws house. Her sister in law and husband are great people in my humble opinion. We then went back to where they were staying to drop stuff off, but more family drama. Again not my place to disclose information of what happened. It was related to the earlier incident is all I will say. From here we left to my friends moms house to have dinner with them and their family gathering they were having. Yummy who doesn't love homemade nachos and tacos for  dinner. After dinner they opened presents they had gotten each other. They do that draw a name and buy a present for that member of the family tradition. But they seperate the kids from the adults so kids buy kids presents and adults buy adults presents. I think most people tend to do it this way. It was a lot of fun to watch. Late in the evening everyone started going home. I think we were the last group  to leave her moms. They dropped me off at my house. I went up to my apartment put some groceries away that I bought while we went shopping earlier. I was getting tired but wanted to watch some youtube before going to bed. Shoutouts - LinusTechTips & The Know are some of my favorite youtubers.

December 27th - My Friends husband had an appointment with his insurance agent, insurance adjuster. insurance titles are kinda confusing to me. never really had house insurance before, but after some of the things I've witnessed in the last two weeks, and the people I've talked to I am seriously thinking about getting renters insurance. If you rent an apartment or a room you should think about it to, as your land lord may have house insurance but most likely it wont cover tenants contents, belongings. It may be different for where you live, so definitely look into it. I mean if you had a fire tomorrow and lost everything are you sure your covered to be able to get back to your life? After meeting with my friends Insurance person. I feel comfortable saying that I am going to look into their agency for possible renters insurance, because he made my friend and me feel at ease. He was up front with everything and seem to genuinely care about my friends problems. He assured him things will be taken care of. He even said they would be able to help replace some of my things that I lost in the fire while watching my friends house. The agent was open about rules and things and even explained things in details when asked about them. He made you feel at ease and you felt like you could respect the man and his company. His Company is Farm Bureau Insurance. I put a link here if you want to check them out too.

Well its 10 P.M. I think I am going to call it quits for this blog and head to bed after some youtube, may even read some more Rage: Feathers and fire Book 2 by Shayne Silvers on my kindle.
